FRM Last Day of School

Friday, June 16, 2017

Students at the Frost Middle School are using technology this Summer to tell their creative stories. This group has an interesting tale about a day at the park. Hopefully they will get their ice cream...
The entire Frost School Family took part in this year's fundraising walk for the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Each Middle School student walked with their Elementary School partner during the one mile walk around the school. Great community spirit Frost Complex!

On Wednesday, May 27th, the Robert L. Frost Middle School recognized 42 current members and inducted 34 new members into their chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.  In the evening ceremony, the 76 students pledged to uphold the standards and principles of the organization; including maintaining and encouraging scholarship, citizenship and community service.  A dessert reception was held in their honor.
Today, The Robert Frost Educational Complex celebrated Memorial Day and honored the members of the United States Military who heroically gave their lives in service of their country in all wars foreign and domestic.  There was a poetry reading by the grade 8 class Vice President, Kelvin Sabando and 7th grade Student Council member, Liz Almonte. Also students said the Pledge of Allegiance, and our National Anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner" was played.  The second grade also sang a beautiful rendition of, "You're a Grand Old Flag."  The Frost Educational Complex would also like to thank all of our soldiers and sailors who are currently serving in defense of our nation.
On Friday, May 1st, members from Tufts University and the Boston Shakespeare Project treated the Frost Educational Complex with their rendition of, "Romeo and Juliet" for our 4th through 8th graders.  They did an excellent job in their performance by giving a modern twist to the play while remaining true to the original script.  We look forward to working with them next year in various workshops!
