In the spring of 2008, Superintendent Wilfredo T. Laboy unveiled the premiere issue of The Lawrence Educator, a new magazine sharing the success stories and educational philosophies of the Lawrence Public Schools.

Reaching nearly 5,000 readers, it is truly a one-of-a-kind showpiece for the District and the tremendous accomplishments of the students, teachers, administrators and the community at large. The magazine is written, edited and printed by employees of the Lawrence Public School District.
