Our Multilingual Department and families gathered recently to celebrate the languages we all speak. There were community resources, bilingual book giveaways, and dance performances. Thank you Lawrence Mayor Brian de Peña and City Councilors for participating and the YMCA for hosting our event.

Lots of practice and teamwork got the Lancer Girls Softball Team their 1st win of the year with a final score of 11-7 over Georgetown. Families joined the players for Senior night ceremonies before the game and the Lancers were ready to play ball. Congrats to the team for the win.

And congratulations to Senior Thiana Brito who will be playing for Merrimack next year, hard work paying off!

students reading cards with LGH Nurse

These two 2nd graders were invited to meet some of the Lawrence General Hospital Nurses who received the special hand-made Thank You cards that students at the Hennessey School made to recognize Nurses Month in May! Each card was specially written and the LGH Nurses were pleased that students took the time to think of them. Great job!
