Students awaiting turn to speak

ENLACE students became UN Delegates the week before vacation when they participated in their first Model United Nations simulation. They had spent the entire third quarter researching their countries, preparing speeches, and practicing debate skills to get ready for a simulation on global pandemic response. They did an incredible job.

There was a packed house for ENLACE's 2nd Annual Holiday Potluck! Students, families, teachers, friends, and community partners came to celebrate the season with delicious food, music, dancing, and a performance by the ENLACE Theater Company.

Lots of excitement in the air at ENLACE today as students took part in the first Mock Presidential Elections. Classes have been discussing the importance of participating in our election process and got the chance to practice what they learned. Have you voted yet?

UPDATE: And the results are in! ENLACE polls closed at 8:30am on Monday, 11/7/16, and Hillary Clinton won the ENLACE election with 88.6% of the vote. Thank you, students, for making your voices heard!
