Frost Elementary Events

camera crew recording student classroom

The Frost Elementary welcomed a film crew from WGBH this week.  The PBS show, Arthur, visited the Frost to film a segment for a future episode to air this May. The episode will explore the concept of displacement.  Many students shared their experiences with the film crew following the September 13th gas disaster.

three girls with wrist bands

Students at the Frost, South Lawrence East, Tarbox, Guilmette and Parthum Elementary Schools participate in the Active Science program that combines healthy movement and science lessons. The program, where students use technology to measure their activity levels and tablets to track their movement and study science, is a collaboration between Lawrence Public Schools, Merrimack College, the Merrimack Valley Y and New Balance. These students earned wristbands for running at least a half mile during the gym portion of the class. See the fun at the Frost Elementary here.
