How to get an LPS Web User account

  1. If you are an Central Office employee or an administrative staff member of a school, contact LPS Media directly through lps.media@lawrence.k12.ma.us using you k12 email address.
     
  2. LPS Media will make an account and use name for you after we get your K12 email address and send you your username and a temporary password that you will have to change once your login. This will take roughly 1-2 days to check and make you an account you. 
     
  3. If you are a teacher who is looking to update their school site, please have your principal e-mail us at lps.media@lawrence.k12.ma.us with your k12 email address telling us that they approve of you making such changes.
     
  4. Once LPS Media gets approval from your principal they will make an account and use name for you after we get your K12 email address, and then send you your username and a temporary password so that you can login and change your password. This will take roughly 1-2 days from when we get a request from your principal to check and make you an account.
     

Finding the Login Button

 
  1. Starting from the homepage of the, "Lawrence Schools Webpage"; Go to the top of the webpage and find the menu item labeled, "About"
     
  2. Place the mouse cursor over the test, "About", until a sub-menu opens
     
  3. Inside the sub-menu for," Departments", left click on the menu item. "LPS Media" located on the right most column under the menu title, "Department"
     
  4. If done right the sub-menu will close and the, "LPS Media" department page, will start to load in the web browser
     

How to Login

 
  1. Look at the top black accessibility bar located on top of the LPS Media department page and find the menu item called, "Login", and then left click on it to load the login form to sign in
     
  2. After the login form page has loaded find and left click into the, "Username" text field to activate it
     
  3. Type in your username id, it should be the first initial of your first name followed by your full last name
     
  4. Find the text field for, "Password", and left click inside it to activate it

* Please try a different web broswer if you are having trouble logging in. We are currently having issues with account logins using Chrome Browsers. 
 


How to Set Password

 
* This section only applies for first time user or users that need to have their password reset
 
  1. After you have logged in you will be redirected to the, "Edit Your Profile" form
     
  2. Find and left click inside the text field for, "Password" to activate it
     
  3. Type in your new password, do not use the temporary password that was given to you or your old password
     
  4. After you had typed in your password find and left click inside the text field labeled, "Confirm Password" to activate it
     
  5. Type in the same new password that you typed into the, "Password" text field in, "Confirm Password"
     
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the form and find the button labeled, "Submit", and left click on it
