Teacher working with Students

INT is hard at work preparing for the MCAS in November! Teachers work after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays to offer tutoring for students taking the MCAS tests. In this picture, Mr. Pichardo works with students after school to prepare for the Biology MCAS.

Mentees Pic

For the first time ever, Arlington Middle School and INT students created a mentoring partnership for the 2017-2018 school year. Nine English Language Learner Middle School Students and nine High School students will meet twice a month to discuss their experiences as newcomers.  The goal of this mentoring program is to build a long term relationship in which the focus will be to support the growth and development of the mentees. We use team building and leadership exercises to develop trust and confidence that will lead to growth.

Student Volunteers

On Saturday, September 16th, Groundwork Lawrence offered students the opportunity to join hundreds of volunteers at one of the largest volunteer events in the city on Saturday, September 16, 2017 to clean up the Spicket River and the Greenway.

The event began at Manchester Street Park, 75 Manchester Street (behind la Fruteria) from 8am to 1pm.

Many International High School students attended.  Go Lancers!

Parents Listening to Principal

Welcome Parents!  International High School held its first back to school Parent's Night on September 14th.  Parents came to tour INT's new location, meet the teachers, talk to administration, and learn about their children's progress.  Many parents attended and it was very successful.
