Marybeth (Bradley) Veilleux, Assistant Principal
 
Marybeth (Bradley) Veilleux has worked for the Lawrence Public Schools since 1998. She began her career in education through student teaching at the Leahy School. Marybeth was then hired as a second grade teacher. Along with her duties as a classroom teacher, Marybeth has held numerous leadership positions including Data Leadership Team Leader, Grade Level Team Leader, High Five Committee Co-Chair, and member of the Teacher Leader Cabinet. As she begins her 17th year, Marybeth is excited to support the great strides that the Leahy continues to make. She holds a Master’s degree from Lesley University.

Leahy Building

 The Francis M. Leahy School was built in 1921. It is an elementary school that has Grade 1 through Grade 5 students. It houses approximately 500 students and 70 staff members. The vision of the Leahy School is to equip all students with the knowledge and skills necessary to reach proficiency without remediation.
