Fire Chief Brian Moriarty joined our K-1 class for Read Across America Day on March 2nd.  He read the story-I Can Read With My Eyes Shut written by Dr. Seuss.

Jenmael Santos, a kindergarten student in Mrs. Lovett’s classroom, sold hot chocolate to his family to help raise money for our Pennies for Patients program.  He raised $21.00 for our fundraiser!  Thank Jenmael!

Polls opened this morning at 8:30 for our k-2 students to vote in the Presidential Election. Each student had a ballot with the name and picture of the two main candidates and entered the voting booth to cast their vote. Hilary Clinton won by a vote of 69 to 22 for Donald Trump.
