Lawrence High School Campus Events

Girls ensemble singing with Handel and Haydn singers

After rescheduling due to snow and waiting for vacation week to end, the LHS Campus was finally able to host this year's Collaborative Youth Concert with the Handel and Haydn Society. LHS students from the Girls Ensemble and Gospel Choirs were joined by Lynn Classical and Lynn English High Schools for this special performance.

Robotics group behind their robot

This year's LHS Robotics Team and mentors are working on their robot for the 2017 FIRST Robotics Competition. January and February are build months to design, construct and program the team's robot. The FIRST robotics competitions against other robotics teams, from all over New England, begin in March. The LHS team works after school, in the evenings and on saturdays.

4 Students in the Lawrence Franklin st NECC building

After their high school day is over, a group of 35 ambitious Lawrence students will now be going to college, taking one or two STEM (science, technology, engineering and math courses) on the Lawrence campus of Northern Essex Community College in the late afternoon. This new partnership between Lawrence Public Schools and Northern Essex was made possible by grants from the Commonwealth Dual Enrollment and the STEM Starter Academy programs. The credits earned will count toward their future college careers. Making Lawrence proud!
