Coach getting award with Players

There was extra excitement at Lawrence High School Campus after the historic win over Andover High School by the Lancer Varsity Football Team. This was the first win against the local rival school since 1984. That game caught the attention of the NE Patriots and NFL Hall of Famer, Andre Tippett. Head Coach Rhandy Audate was honored as Coach of the Week in a surprise ceremony with his assistant coaches, player captains and cheerleaders in attendance.  Congratulations, Coach Audate!

You can tune in this Friday to see the event as part of Patriots All Access at 7pm on WBZ Channel 4. Go Lancers!

Medal of Honor recipients arriving in crowd at LHS Campus

Lawrence had two very special guests arrive by Black Hawk helicopter and land in Lancer centerfield today. Both Army veterans are recipients of the Medal of Honor, the highest military decoration that may be awarded to American servicemen and women for acts of valor. Army Sergeant Sammy Davis and Army Sergeant Major Matt Williams were flown in to Lawrence to speak with students and staff and share their experiences. Davis is a veteran of the Vietnam War and Williams served in Afghanistan. We thank them for their service and were honored by their visit to Lawrence. Click here for photos of the event.
