Students working on science fair projects

Coming off a well-designed and educational Middle School Science Fair the previous day, Ms. Margaux, Mr. K, and their High School Students proved that great events happen more than once!  The students at last Friday's High School Science Fair displayed their understanding of the Scientific Method through various experiments.  Presentations of their study designs and findings were presented to classmates, staff, and esteemed guests.  Congratulations to AJ for being voted winner of this year's fair.  For more pictures, see the SES-High School (@seshighschool1) on Twitter!

Elementary and Middle School students and staff learn about the experiments conducted by High School student presenters, during the 2018 SES High School Science Fair.

As a shift from past school years, the annual School for Exceptional Studies Science Fair took on an earlier date.  Moving the Science Fair to mid-January meant less time to get in the mindset of selecting, designing, hypothesizing, conducting, and presenting their experiments.  Although the scientific process can be challenging, with the guidance of the Ms. Margaux, Mr. K, and the talented aides in the SES High School Program, the students worked hard to persevere.  As the Science Fair is currently continuing at the publication of this article, please be sure to check in with SES on Facebook and SES High School on Twitter for updates and more photos from the event.  On behalf of the School for Exceptional Studies Community, great work to all the students!  Be proud of the hard work you put in, and be proud of your continued academic growth!
