South Lawrence East Elementary Events

Teacher face painting student

Even a nor'easter couldn't keep families and staff away from the South Lawrence East Elementary School to celebrate the annual Fall Festival. Students enjoyed crafts, face painting, decorating cupcakes, and a hearty breakfast.

Books, books and more books were available to students in 1st through 3rd grades in Lawrence Public Schools this Summer. The Read for Success program provided an amazing STEAM curriculum and lots of books for students to take home.

Two boys at Camp Otter

On May 23rd and 24th, the fourth grade students from the South Lawrence East Elementary attended Camp Otter in Salem New Hampshire. A generous grant from 3M allowed all fourth graders to participate. Students not only enjoyed classic camp activities such as canoeing and Gaga, but also science lab classes conducted by Merrimack College students. Thank you to everyone who made these two days possible.
