Teacher Luncheon

Teachers enjoyed a delicious luncheon provided by the amazing Wetherbee PTO as well as a sweet display of treats from the Wetherbee Administration.

Young Professionals

On Friday, April 27th, the 8th grade hosted the Greater Lawrence Young Professionals Network for a Career Speaker event. The Young Professionals met with small groups of 8th graders to discuss their jobs, educational backgrounds, and how they got to where they are today. The students had a great time and learned a lot!

Student Projects

On April 10th, students and their families were invited to come celebrate and observe work from the Unified Arts classes. During Unified Arts Night families created tissue paper flowers and puppets, explored science experiments, and played gym games and USA Bingo. Families that attended got a ticket for a chance to win one of many raffle prizes! Thank you for supporting your Unified Arts team!

Wetherbee Grade 5 Students With Their Civil Rights Projects

On Friday, March 23, fifth grade Wetherbee students completed their study of American history during the civil rights movement. They shared their work with the school via a project fair in the atrium, and also presented their research on Civil Rights Activists and/or the Civil Rights Movement for grade 3 students, who also study biographies about this era in history.

Here are some of the standout projects!
Jenessa: JFK poster
Savannah: Jacket Mobile on Thurgood Marshall
