Wetherbee Events

Student Projects

On April 10th, students and their families were invited to come celebrate and observe work from the Unified Arts classes. During Unified Arts Night families created tissue paper flowers and puppets, explored science experiments, and played gym games and USA Bingo. Families that attended got a ticket for a chance to win one of many raffle prizes! Thank you for supporting your Unified Arts team!

Earth day

On Saturday, April 21, 2018 Wetherbee students came out to celebrate Earth Day! They did a fabulous job preparing the school garden and beautifying the outside of the school. Students had a great time helping out the environment and their community.

Students at the Wetherbee School use the ST Math online program to help improve their basic skills, and each student is given a goal to reach and a certain amount of time in which to meet the expectations. We are so proud of Kaily in grade 3 who received a jeans pass for JiJi (the ST Math penguin) goal completion!

Wetherbee Grade 5 Students With Their Civil Rights Projects

On Friday, March 23, fifth grade Wetherbee students completed their study of American history during the civil rights movement. They shared their work with the school via a project fair in the atrium, and also presented their research on Civil Rights Activists and/or the Civil Rights Movement for grade 3 students, who also study biographies about this era in history.

Here are some of the standout projects!

On Friday, March 2nd, fifteen groups of sixth grade students from the Wetherbee School participated in a classroom BREAKOUT experience focused on the life and work of Dr. Seuss. By solving a series of mysterious clues and relying on teamwork to get them through each new challenge, five out of the fifteen groups were able to successfully BREAKOUT! Congratulations to the victorious students!
