Student Projects

On April 10th, students and their families were invited to come celebrate and observe work from the Unified Arts classes. During Unified Arts Night families created tissue paper flowers and puppets, explored science experiments, and played gym games and USA Bingo. Families that attended got a ticket for a chance to win one of many raffle prizes! Thank you for supporting your Unified Arts team!

Wetherbee Grade 5 Students With Their Civil Rights Projects

On Friday, March 23, fifth grade Wetherbee students completed their study of American history during the civil rights movement. They shared their work with the school via a project fair in the atrium, and also presented their research on Civil Rights Activists and/or the Civil Rights Movement for grade 3 students, who also study biographies about this era in history.

Here are some of the standout projects!
Jenessa: JFK poster
Savannah: Jacket Mobile on Thurgood Marshall

Celtics players and Middle School students in workshop

30 students from the Wetherbee School and 30 more from North Andover Middle School were selected to participate in the Celtics Play Ball! Playbook 2017. This series of workshops to inspire dialog around the unique role that sports can play in teaching the values of diversity inclusion and promoting conflict resolution kicked off this year with a visit from Celtics Coach Brad Stevens and players Al Horford, Abdel Nader and Marcus Smart.  The students will work together with Play Ball! Foundation and the Celtics Shamrock Foundation to create their own "Playbook" that they can use to teach younger students about ways to deal with complex social situations. Thank you to everyone for a great afternoon!
