Wetherbee Fall festival 2019 was a huge success! Students participated in many events including face painting, pumpkin decorating contest, pumpkin on a string contest, apple taste test, mummy wrapping competition, candy corn guessing game and outdoor sports! All students received a cup of popcorn and had lots of fun during their PBS activity hour for the month.

Aaron's Presents, a charitable organization that partners with the Wetherbee, provided all of the supplies and treats so that three 8th grade students Weryls, Yeribel and Arihesly could have Valentine's party for grade 1.  Aaron's presents has students create a project that benefits others then carry it out. The Middle School students set up stations to make bracelets, cards and served a pudding treat. For more pictures from this fantastic event, click here.

Four Wetherbee Warriors receiving awards

The 5th Grade at the Wetherbee School is proud to celebrate our first week of school by honoring a few of our students who have embraced the Wetherbee "STRONG" attitude and motto. These are our first Grade 5 Wetherbee Warriors for the first week of school.

Students possess the Wetherbee S.T.R.O.N.G. mentality and have MADE THEIR MARK in 5th grade! We know they will keep up the great work!

Class

Ms. Ardito has been working on fire safety with her class. They completed a week's worth of lessons on fire safety. Activities included calling 9-1-1, using smoke detectors, demonstrations of stop drop and roll, not playing with matches or lighters, checking the doorknob for heat, looking for emergency exits, and designing a safety plan. They earned a small certificate and fire safety badges.
